We have all arrived safely in Madagascar after a very long day of traveling. From meeting at 3.30 am on Tuesday in Edinburgh, we arrived at our hotel in Antananarivo at 12.30am on Wednesday local time!
We were greeted with a lovely warm welcome from the Malagasy scouts who also gave us all a delightful straw hat.
We will be back up early tomorrow morning for a full day of orientation and getting to know our Malagasy colleagues. It’s also Independence Day here in Madagascar so things will be busy!
